FEATURED STORIES

This was supposed to have been executed through a property-for-share transaction where Ferronoux acquired the land in exchange for the issuance of common shares to Eagle 1 Landholdings Inc., a subsidiary of Okada owner Universal Entertainment Corp.

With the purchase, Ferronoux can then pursue its ambitious plan to transform the tract of land into a bustling entertainment and commercial district complete with shopping and dining spots and even large-scale venues for concerts and sports events.

Now how will Ferronoux bankroll its grand plans?

Well, it has reportedly secured fresh capital from a group of investors aside from Eagle 1. It is also said to be actively courting joint venture partners willing to place their bets on this new venture.

The Hub opened its doors on June 9.

Nestled right at the BSP head office along the Roxas Boulevard service road in Manila, the Hub isn’t just another ordinary government facility—it’s the central bank’s all-in-one venue for consumer assistance, education and even a little retail therapy.

Need to sort out a concern with your bank? You can walk in and speak with BSP personnel. Looking to snag some limited-edition commemorative coins or official BSP merch? They’ve got you. Curious about BSP-acquired real estate? It’s all happening here.

And don’t miss the Museo BSP, where the country’s coin and currency history gets its time to shine. The facility also boasts a modern library, sleek meeting rooms and a multi-purpose auditorium.

BSP Governor Eli Remolona Jr. summed it up with flair: “The BSP Hub is more than just another building. It is the space where the BSP connects with the people.”
